2022 ATU Scholarship Remembering Our Fallen Brothers of ATU Local 265 San Jose, CA

The 2021-2022 ATU Scholarship Awards are bestowed in remembrance of our beloved fallen brothers from ATU Local 265 in San Jose, CA. whose lives were taken tragically and far too soon. In dedicating these awards in their honor, may the memories of Abdolvahab Alaghmandan, Adrian Balleza, Alex Ward Fitch, Jose de Jesus Hernandez III, Lars Kepler Lane, Paul Delacrux Megia, Timothly Michael Romo, Michael Joseph Rudometkin, Taptejdeep Singh, and Henry Gonzales live on.

We hope the recipients of this year’s scholarships named in their honor, will use them in part to study union and community organizing, and grow to fight injustices everywhere.

This year, the program will consist of five scholarships each in the amount of $8,000. In addition, a $2,000 scholarship may be awarded to a vocational applicant.
