Re: Uberization of Transit Service

As most of you are aware, the City of Edmonton is looking at dropping service from lower volume areas of Edmonton and replacing it with subsidised Ride Sharing (Uber). This is another example of the City trying to privatise another City Department. We need to be proactive and fight this before it begins! This will be a big project, from dealing with City Councillors, advertising campaigns and programs to inform the people living in the areas affected.
