It’s with regret that we announce that the Edmonton Oil Kings have suspended their season, citing safety issues around COVID-19. This cancels our Special Event Oil Kings Game this Sunday.

The Union will communicate further when we know whether the Oilers Entertainment Group will provide full refund or credit to a future game. In any event, those of you with tickets will get your game later or a refund of the tickets you purchased from the Union.

In the meantime, please do not attend at Rogers Place this Sunday. The game is cancelled.

Please be safe out there. The best course of action is “Social Distancing”: stay at least a meter away from people, 2 meters is better. Fist-bump or elbow -bump, NOT hand-shake.
