On September 26, Coalition leaders and Senior City Administrators (the Executive Leadership Team or ELT) met for the first time in recent memory. In the past this meeting has been a routine event for Unions and Administration to have the “difficult talks” and search for solutions to log jams in our work lives. It was a fruitful meeting, with all participants agreeing that we need a next meeting before the Budget Adjustment talks later this fall. We also agreed that it is the correct forum for having those “tough talks”. Looking for solutions to tough problems.
