For those among you who’s trade balance is positive for the year (that is you’ve worked more trades than you’ve traded away), you’ve been over-charged for your LAPP premiums during the year. You’ll be receiving a rebate of the overpayment on your December 29th pay transfer. Nothing unusual about it, but if you have any other questions, give us a call.
For those who’s trade balance is negative, your LAPP premiums fell short of a full year’s pensionable earnings. In the spring, you’ll be advised of the amount by which you’re short and the cost of buying it back. More on this end as the time draws nearer.
