Last month, Alberta lost nearly 19,000 jobs. In total, more than 50,000 jobs have been lost since Jason Kenney became Premier. Now the UCP’s budget will heap public-sector job loss on top of private-sector job loss.

Our healthcare is being sold to the highest bidder. Family doctors are talking about leaving the province. Visit times will get shorter. Wait times will get longer. Doctors are warning us of dire consequences. Will Kenney listen? Yes, but only if we get loud.

Economies improve when the people within them are empowered to make their lives better. Jason Kenney is making that next to impossible. In times like these, our best hope is each other.
