On November 2nd City Councillor Andrew Knack gave notice of intent, that he would be reintroducing a motion to explore the possibility of using ride share companies to service low ridership areas of the City.
Unfortunately, the Union and other groups are not permitted to speak to this motion because we have already spoken at the Urban Planning Committee last June.
Over the past 2 weeks I have met and spoken with 7 City Councilors lobbying for support to Keep Transit Public.
City Council will be debating this motion today November 14. I will update you the results of today’s council meeting.
In Solidarity,
