Thank you to the local leaders who have shared the ATU Canada Inclusivity Survey with members, and those who have taken the time to fill it out personally. We trust that you have taken the action required to distribute the ATU Canada Inclusivity Survey to all members of your local, by whichever means you regularly share information with members.
With your help, and since the launch of the survey, the Inclusivity Steering Committee has received almost 200 responses. This is a great start and we are gaining insights into the barriers to inclusivity faced by ATU Canada’s membership. When we are able to name the barriers that impact members’ full participation in our workplaces and unions, we can make changes to better serve members.
