What’s It All About?

You may have noticed a poster hanging in all of our workplaces. It’s heading Reads “NOTICE TO EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEES”. It talks about our application to the Labour Board to terminate the DATS Certificate and move the DATS Operators into the main agreement. This is pursuant to our agreement with the CIty of Edmonton to do that. Both parties are in full agreement on this. It benefits all members by making our Unit stronger and more all-encompassing.

This is the culmination of a quarter century of work and effort to bring our DATS sisters and brothers into the mainstream membership. Congratulations to Daryn Kreutzer and Natalie Chaisson-Uruhart, today’s DATS Reps and to all previous reps who never gave up the dream. Welcome DATS MEMBERS!
